Emily Rydbom, L.E.

Emily Rydbom is a Certified Lifestyle Educator who has received training in functional medicine, functional nutrition, first-line therapies, perinatal nutrition and food as medicine. Emily is currently working towards her certified clinical nutritionist and nutrition counselor degree at Bauman College, class of 2012. She also works in the areas of chronic disease nutrition, perinatal nutrition, pediatric nutrition, sports nutrition, gluten-free, vegetarian, vegan and elimination diets, and functional allergy nutrition.

As a lifestyle educator, Emily and your primary care physician work with you to develop a sustainable and long lasting stress, sleep, exercise, supplement, and nutritional plan that is tailored to your individual genetic blueprint. She will look closely at your personal lifestyle and nutritional goals and with you develop an effective team approach to your health.

Counseling and Patient Education related to Therapeutic Lifestyle Change Includes:

1. Perform initial and serial follow-up: Vitals and anthropometry
2. Perform initial and serial follow-up: Bioimpedance measurements
3. Assessment/review of a lifestyle-associated health history
4. Review and serial follow-up of a symptom based health assessment
5. Provide patient education regarding the physician’s instructions, lab values, nutritional supplements, and medical food, etc.
6. Nutrition/Menu Plan: Counseling and monitoring
7. Exercise/Activity: Counseling and monitoring
8. Therapeutic Nutritional Protocol: Implementation and monitoring
9. Stress Management and HPA Response: Counseling and monitoring
10. Sleep/Recuperation/Restoration: Counseling and monitoring
11. Detailed medical chart records of all counseling/services performed

These delegated medical services are specific and detailed per physician/provider approved, evidence-based protocols. The delegate, Emily Rydbom, LE, agrees to follow designated procedures and protocols developed and approved for each of the above delegated services. This agreement for medical services is set forth in Oregon Revised Statues 677.505.
